A Path of Presence, Heritage & Stillness

Upaya was born from a vision that emerged during my time in conversation with native tribes across Asia.

As I listened to their stories, I witnessed the deep impact of corruption and imbalance — how tourism often benefits only the wealthy, while the communities who hold the land’s wisdom are left unseen, unsupported, and living in poverty.

From these encounters, a calling arose.

Rooted in reverence for Mother Nature and ancestral knowledge, Upaya exists to serve as a bridge between indigenous tribes and the wider world — offering a platform where their handcrafted creations can be shared, honoured, and valued.

Through this exchange, we help preserve cultural heritage, protect ancient handcrafts, and support communities in sustaining their way of life.

Upaya is a heartfelt collaboration with Vietnamese tribal artisans and indigenous makers from around the globe, who continue to practice traditional techniques passed down through generations.

Each meditation cushion and yoga accessory is created slowly and intentionally, infused with patience, skill, and ancestral wisdom.

These pieces are more than objects for practice. They are companions for stillness — holding space for breath, grounding, and inner listening.
